A new dashboard is quick to set up. First you give it a name, then you fill it with charts.
Tip: On the
Neues Dashboardpage you'll see a note about Smarta at the top. Smarta can create the whole dashboard, charts included, for you. To do that, openSmarta fragenin the navigation.
Open "Smarta Dashboards" in the navigation.
Click Neues Dashboard.
Enter a name (120 characters max).
Optional: write a description. You can use Markdown, so headings, lists and links, for example. You open the description later with the info icon at the top of the dashboard, and it also appears at the top of the PDF.
Choose the layout (see below).
Click Speichern.
You go straight to the new, still empty dashboard. At first it's private, so only you can see it.
Layout | How the charts behave |
|---|---|
| The charts sit in rows. A row is as tall as its tallest chart. |
| Each chart moves up in its column, right under the chart before it. That leaves no gap under short charts. |
Zeilen looks tidier when your charts are about the same height. Spalten pays off with mixed heights, for example a long table next to two small KPIs. You can change the layout at any time. On a phone, there is always one chart per row.
Add your first chart: use the three-dot menu at the top right and Diagramm hinzufügen. The article "Add and edit charts" explains how.
You set up the filter bar once the dashboard has at least one chart. Before that, the platform doesn't yet know which fields you can filter.
