Already working with Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini Enterprise? Then you can query your sell & pick data right there, with no export and no copy & paste. Our MCP Server makes it possible. MCP is an open standard that lets AI assistants access external data sources.
Important: When you use it this way, your data leaves the sell & pick platform and is processed by your AI provider. Before setting up, read the section "What happens to your data" further down.
Just ask normally, for example:
"How did revenue per store develop in September compared to the previous year?"
The assistant finds the right data, runs the query and answers with the numbers. It can:
query and analyze your approved data
create and edit your own dashboards and fill them with charts (if custom dashboards are enabled for you)
It cannot:
delete or share dashboards
change the dashboards that sell & pick maintains for you
create reports or send emails
change data in your source systems
The assistant only sees the areas that sell & pick has enabled for MCP and that you are also allowed to open yourself on the platform.
We enable MCP for your environment. To do that, talk to your Customer Success Manager or write to [email protected]. After that, in the navigation under the enabled areas of Smarta Dashboards you will find a tab MCP with the server URL and the setup steps for Claude, ChatGPT and Gemini Enterprise.
Every query from the assistant counts toward your token limit, just like a question to Smarta.
Up to 60 requests per minute are possible per person.
Unlike with Smarta, the answers here do not run through sell & pick, but through your own AI provider, for example Anthropic, OpenAI or Google. The data the assistant queries goes to that provider and is processed there under its terms, depending on the provider also outside the EU.
Whether and how you use this is up to you. Before setting up, check what contract you have with your AI provider and what data your employees are allowed to query there. More on this in the article Datenverarbeitung bei Smarta.
What is the difference from Smarta?
Smarta runs directly in the sell & pick platform, and we organize the processing. With MCP you use your own assistant, the one you already work with, and you decide on the provider yourself.
The assistant finds no data.
Check that you are logged in with the right sell & pick account. The assistant only sees areas that are enabled for MCP and that you are allowed to open yourself.
How do I disconnect?
Remove the connector in your assistant's settings. After that it has no access anymore.
